1. DIY Jewellery

Make your own jewellery by using beads, string or wire. If you are looking for inspiration, there are many tutorials available online to guide you through the process of creating earrings, bracelets and necklaces.

2. Macrame Plant Hanger

Create a wonderful macrame plant hanger using macrame cord, yarn or string. Add a small plant and you’ll have a stylish hanging plant.

3. Painted Vases

Get creative by using acrylic paints to brighten up old, plain vases. Alternatively, add some inspiring quotes to them. If you don’t have any vases, why not try decorating mason jars?

4. Knitting Kits

Knitting Kits come complete with instructions and yarn and are a great way to learn this favourite pastime. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, a wide range of available knitting kits allows you to try something new. If you want to attempt some gloves or perhaps a toy for a child, Knitting Kits are a great starting point.

5. Upcycle Tableware

Ceramic paint and a small brush is all you need to upcycle and transform plain tableware, such as plates and bowls. Add coloured stripes or floral designs to give these items a new lease of life.

6. Painted rocks

Find smooth rocks in your garden or at a nearby park and paint them with acrylic paints. There might even be a “rock finding” Facebook group for your area, whereby you hide your creations for others to find. Alternatively, your beautifully painted rocks can be used as paperweights or plant pot decorations.
