Over half term there are lots of events going on around the Cotswolds to help keep little ones entertained. With October also comes Halloween and if you are looking for Halloween activities to enjoy there are plenty.

Over Farm Halloween – Over farm is a great place to go to celebrate all things Halloween. As well as the pumpkin patch they also have the haunted hayrides and fairground fun to enjoy at the Spook yard, as well as a monster disco. This is a popular event, so it is important to book ahead.
Westonbirt Arboretum – In the autumn, Westonbirt arboretum looks majestic. With the changing colours of the trees and the fresh air, it is a great place to go for a family walk. There are guided walks and for little children the stick man trail will be sure to go down well.
Cotswolds Water Park – For kids this is a great place to go if you are looking for somewhere to let them use up all their energy this half term! Cotswolds country park has its own beach as well as lots of fun water based activities.
Sudeley Castle – A beautiful castle with plenty of history, at Halloween there are also lots of events for the whole family at the castle. Halloween fancy dress is encouraged, and you can find a pumpkin trail to follow that kids will love! On Halloween itself there is a Tudor Halloween event with spooky stories and a focus on the traditions of the Tudor era.
