I Am Sailing, (Competently and Safely)

Read Time:1 Minute, 14 Second

The pop song “Sailing” was written by Gavin Sutherland of the Sutherland Brothers fame in 1972 and became an international smash hit when recorded by Sir Rod Stewart in 1975.  Verse one of the songs, (that nearly everyone in the Country could sing along to), simply says; “I am Sailing, I am Sailing, Home again, across the Sea, I am Sailing, Stormy Waters, to be near you, to be Free”.  Many individuals, couples and even families have dreamt of sailing across the tranquil, clear, blue waters of the Sea to find an Island paradise of golden beaches, palm trees and crystal-clear streams of fresh water.
