Foosball is a game that was originally played with wooden pegs on the ground. Today, it is usually played with plastic figures on a table. The game has its origins in Europe, but it has become popular in North America as well. The Foosball table for sale at stores and online is available.

How to set up a foosball table?

Setting up a foosball table is not very difficult, as long as you follow these steps carefully.

Position your foosball table

Position your foosball table in a location that is free of obstructions. This will help to prevent accidents and damage to the table, which can be very expensive to fix. Make sure that the table does not get knocked over or damaged by other objects such as furniture or pets.

Remove the panels

To set up your foosball table, you’ll need to remove two panels from underneath the table. The first panel is at the top of the table on each side and is held in by four screws. The second panel is underneath each goalpost and also has four screws. Once you’ve removed all six panels, make sure to store them somewhere safe so that you don’t lose them or accidentally throw them out with other trash. If you don’t have a place to store them now, you can leave these panels off until after your game has been played once or twice—then replace them after playing again so they can be moved around easily if needed later on down the road!

Make sure that your surface is level

The first thing you’ll want to do is make sure that your surface is level. To do this, use a spirit level or piece of wood and check the level on both sides of the table. If either side isn’t level, adjust it by adding or removing material under the legs until it’s even on both sides.

Once you’ve got your table nice and level, place it in an open area where there are no obstructions like other furniture, walls or cabinets.

Position the tabletop

Once the legs are in place, it’s time to attach the tabletop. Place it over the legs and screw it down. Make sure that it is level, as this will help ensure that your foosball table will be level once you play on it. Also, make sure that all of the screws are inserted into their respective holes (you may have noticed two short-looking screws lying beside each leg), and that they’re screwed in all the way so that they don’t fall out when you move around or play with them later on.

Attach the rods

Next, you’ll need to attach the rods to each side of the table. First, insert one end of the rod into the bracket on one side of the foosball table. Then twist it so that it is firmly in place and tighten both nuts at least half a turn past hand tight to ensure that there are no gaps between them.

Next, repeat this process for each rod until all four have been attached to both sides of your new foosball table! To make sure that they don’t get stuck when you’re turning them later on (and possibly break), apply some oil or lubricant such as WD-40 before tightening all nuts down by hand.

Install the counter-balanced men to each rod

Apply a drop of oil to the screw threads. Install the men and tighten them down, making sure to apply a drop of oil for easy turning. Then, tighten the screws evenly—too tight and it will bend the plastic rod; too loose, and your men won’t stay on their rods.

Now, check that your men move smoothly, without catching on any part of their path. If they do catch, there may be something wrong with your table’s setup or quality control (this is rare). Otherwise, try loosening one end by turning its corresponding bolt counter-clockwise slightly until it moves freely again without catching on anything else in its path. You should also check that all four sides are balanced when you move each man down onto his spot; if not symmetrical enough (some weight on one side), then adjust using small washers under each foot until they’re balanced well enough so that they don’t tip over easily when moved around during playtime!

Conclusion

We have covered a lot of ground in this article, but hopefully, you are now better equipped to set up your foosball table. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time!
