One way you can avoid this is by dividing a large task into several small tasks; If you must do many tasks at once, do them one by one. In this way, you will finish carrying out the proposed and maybe even in less time than you think.

Often times, achieving perfection can mean the death of an idea, project and even a business. The ideal is to finish the tasks at least 80%, and look for improvements with the remaining 20%; but it will always be better to finish something completely, not to do it for the pursuit of perfection.

Take time to think

Although it seems that you will lose more time in this way, it can be the opposite. It has been proven that stopping thinking about things can help us achieve our own solutions. Sometimes, when the activities tend to be intense, we may not see the exits or the way to do something.

Breathing fresh air, exercising, clearing the mind; they are things that can help to establish mentally the exits or ways to finish our work.

As you can see, there are some techniques to beat procrastination; Therefore, doing them will bring benefits for both work and health. Some benefits are:

  1. You will increase your determination and your strengths.
  2. You will stop self-deceiving yourself.
  3. you will put an end to unnecessary stress and frustration.
  4. You will be a better professional.
  5. You will get the positive side of things.
  6. You will improve your productivity.
  7. You will be organized.

Keep in mind that procrastination often comes from self-fear; that is, it can occur in situations such as: Having to speak to your boss but, because of fear, you put it off.

Always keep your mind calm, listen to your favorite song, have breaks, divide your tasks and say no to procrastination.

And remember, don’t let fear overcome you, start what you set out to do and end it. The important thing is to finish what has started. Don’t lock yourself up because it must be something perfect.
